Ok so I have been writing my sailor and it seems that my sailor isn't getting any of my letters. I receive a letter today telling me this and it broke my heart because my babe feels like I am too busy to write a letter and that is so far from the truth. The last thing I want my babe to worry about is me doing something out here and I'm not. This is killing me because I know I write the letters and send them. My heart is breaking...

It took my SR almost a month to receive my letters and I felt the exact same way.  It killed me that he could possibly think I wasn't writing him every day... sometimes twice a day.  He finally received my letters last week, the last of mine he received was from 1/4.  He is PIR 2/8.  Don't give up!

Thank you. My SR PIR is 2/8 also. It just breaks my heart for my SR to feel like that b/c it is not true.

He should have received them by now.  Because of all the holds and stuff, it has messed up their mail schedule so chin up!  He knows he is loved!

There is a delay between when he wrote you that letter and you received it so it's very possible he could have revenues your letters by the time you received his. He will get your letters they make sure the SR's get their letters.
I understand how you must feel. The communication method is slow & frustrating, not what we are use to in this day of technology. Perhaps double check the address you have against the return address on the envelope of the letter you got from him (&/or in the form letter). Also, perhaps make sure you print clearly in block letters so there's no delay in deciphering your writing. I always took my letters directly to the post office rather than dropping it in a stationed box at the curb or mall (eliminates extra handling & possibility of it getting lost). Other than what we can control from our end, what they do in there to deliver the letters is out of our hands. I know, it sucks. Hang in there & keep writing him. Don't give up.
It is so frustrating b/c I sent the first letter on the 2nd and I got a letter from my SR on the 6th so I figured maybe my letter hasn't gotten there yet but I sent another in the 7th and received a letter from my SR again today saying my other letter still didn't get there. Now here I am writing another letter crying my heart out b/c I wonder will it be received. I hate my SR feeling like I don't have time to write or that I don't miss him
I know how you feel & how much it must hurt to think how he must feel. Have you been in touch with any loved ones of other SRs in his div? The other thing you can do in the mean time is to ask someone to get a message to your SR through their letter to their SR. (I would suggest pm that individual with your SR's name rather than posting it publicly). I was traveling out of the country at the time so I asked one of my Navy sister to send my SR (through her SR) a paid mailing envelope so my SR could send home extra letters once they pile up.
I'm sure your SR will eventually receive your letters, they all might come at once! But i know it's the meantime that's difficult.
You also have to remember they only get one day a week to write letters at the beginning, so he could have written those letters to you a week ago saying he hasn't gotten your letters. They are only allowed to send mail on certain days but try can receive mail every day except Sunday. Also you may have been sending letters before they were allowed to receive them, so they would have been held in the post office and may have gotten mixed up there. They will get to him, ad I understand it's frustrating but just know that he will get your letters and just continue writing because it's going to be the greatest feeling when you finally get that letter from him saying he's gotten all your letters!
Thank you ladies. It is just killing my heart right now because this is the last thing I want my SR to worry about. My SR has received letters from mom but not me an we have the same address. We don't get along so I can't ask her to do it for me. Sad thing. I mean I have received three letters since New Years Eve. I know I will get through this but its hard. PIR is 2/8 so I look forward to that. I just miss my SR so much
