My boyfrined leaves in 26 days and every time I even think about it I tear up. How do you guys cope wuth your loved one being gone? I just can't stand the fact that I won't be able to tell him good morning, or wish him good night, or be there for him when he needs someone to talk to. He's my best friend...will this feeling ever go away? It's already horrible and he hasn't even left yet. I want to make the most of our time left together but it's hard for me thinking "this might be the last time we do this" or "this might be the last time we do that." Thanks for listening to me whine. lol :)

I love the 30 day challene! I am 34 days away from being reunitedwith my boyfriend, this would be a great graduation gift, maybe do it in a scrap book! Thanks for the idea! :)

That's exactly what I am going to do with it! You're welcome :)

and toes crossed!!!

Dont worry honey! We're all here for you. Write and send pictures as much as you can and dont get down if his first two letters sound depressing. They will be having a hard time trying to cope also. My Fiance's group moved ships AFTER sending out the address. His group didnt recieve any of that mail for the first month!!! He left on the 2nd, called me on the 25th and had only gotten 2 of my letters.  I had sent 20 by that point. Thankfully that doesnt happen often and if you have any doubts you can check with his recruiter (i didnt think about checking !!) You'll prolly get a letter the week after his second sunday in, that (not guaranteed ) will be his first time to write. Mail takes about 2 to 3 weeks to get to him while they training the new mail SR.

LADIES I GOT A PHONE CALL TODAY!!!!!! All i got to say for those going into boot camp or about to go into boot camp. This experiance is worth how much you will find you are in love with him. You will appericate each other alot more. Me and my fiance were perfectly in love with each other, but this past five weeks we have shown each other just how much we love one other and how much we are willing to do to make the other one happy. My fiance stays up every night and writes me a letter, and i send him so much in return. Its not going to be easy by any means but boy was it worth it to see that number pop up on my phone and hear him say how much he loves me. I've got 20 days ladies :) And you best believe these twenty days are going to go by fast

My boyfriend left for Boot camp on the 5th so I am where you will be very soon. The hardest part is the no communication in the beginning. You worry about how he is doing, you'll be worried about what he's thinking and what people are telling him and its doubled because he has no way of easing your fears until he can start writing you. You'll miss him like crazy, some days more than others. Today, I miss him a lot because it's our first weekend apart. I keep reminding myself that he loves me. HERE'S A TIP!!!! Tell him to call your cell phone and leave a voice message. Tell him to tell you everything that he wants you to know and remember, everything he usually tells you, anything, so that when you miss him 2 much, you can listen to it. IT WORKS!!! It's great to be able to hear his voice, even if you know what he's going to say and have listened to it everyday for a week. It helps to hear his voice. You'll be fine! We are all going through or have been thru the same.

I am on the same page with you. I had my boyfriend leave a voicemail and I'm so glad I did. I listen to it every day sometimes twice a day. It keeps me going. It is also my first weekend without him and it was not easy today. Tomorrow I will be with his family so hopefully it will be better. Also, take his cologne that you like so you can spray it on his sweatshirt or on your pillow. I sleep so much better when I close my eyes and get wrapped up in his smell. We're all here for you so vent, ask questions, and brag. We all do it :)

This first weekend is a doozy huh? I miss my guy so much. I have fears and worries, but I've been trying to tell myself that it's just because I miss him and it's nothing.

Yeah it was rough, but hey the first weekend is over now! The weeks need to keep flying by. I was worrying too. I know that will go away when I hear from him again.

Good idea, that's gonna have to be a must-do for me lol. Hope todays going better than your weekend. stay strong ♥

It is. I'm trying to stay busy. he called me last night. It was only 18 seconds but I was so happy to hear from him. I had planned what I would say when he called but when I heard his voice all of that went out the window lol. I was in utter shock lol

awh, congrats! I bet that's exciting :) lol, i hope i don't cry like a baby (im a bad crier -__- )
