Today I was at work, running around like a chicken with it's head cut off. I was so annoyed and frustrated, all because I didn't get a letter. It's so aggravating, especially now since a few of my girlfriends online who left the same day my Fiance did, live in the same State as I do have now gotten letters. Some even dated back to Sept.25?? My mind is just going really? Really WTF... So far I sent him 8 letters in total, so going on DAY 23 OF NO MAIL. Could there be something wrong with him? I can't imagine him getting in trouble or anything, he's already a pretty disciplined guy, he's athletically in shape, or  maybe he's sick (Wouldn't they get to call if they were sick or something because that would  hold off graduation?)(He even started training and met his PFT standards even before he went in, so I can't imagine him struggling)

I'm trying to look forward to possibly finding out the gender of my baby in the week of the (20 something), since I'll be heading towards that, my doctor says we might be able to find out as early as my 16th week if I'm lucky. I want a boy or Girl, I just want to know lol..

From what I have heard, in a way, no news is good news. I think that would mean that he isn't sick or injured, so I don't think that's why you haven't received a letter yet. Like you said, I'm pretty sure they would be allowed to call if that was the case. There are a number of possibilities as to why you have not received a letter yet, and I understand how crazy you're feeling. My fiance's form letter came two weeks after he left, and I was going out of my mind waiting for that address! Hang in there, Dina. I'm sure there's a reasonable explanation, and hopefully you will know soon! Just keep writing to your SR and I'm sure he will contact you as soon as he is able! If you ever want to talk, feel free to PM me... Like I said, I know the pain of waiting as well. I am on day sixteen, and I want a letter in my mailbox more than anything in the world.

Keep looking forward to finding out about your baby! That seems like a very good, positive distraction from the worry you're feeling. I wish you all the luck in the world!

Thank you:) I am sorry I can't write a super long response, on the cell. In bed with severe leg cramps, I really need to stretch lol
Are you getting enough potassium? That can make leg cramps worse when pg - treat yourself to a banana split tomorrow (bananas are good for potassium) :-)
They could have Sailors in a different company, and got their mail privileges sooner. I know it's hard, but if there was a problem then you or his mom (whoever is listed as his emergency contact) would have heard by now. Boot camp really is a case of no news is good news. He really is in good hands, he just might not have time to write yet. Just I know there have been times my husband has been deployed and he gets so caught up in the "sameness" of every day, with no outside influences, and so focused on hus mission, that even though he loves us very much, he would forget how long it had been since he emailed. And, when I went through boot camp, I was the religious petty officer (marched people from my company back and forth to the different church services, stayed for them and helped hand stuff out during service, that sort of thing...) Since this was on Sunday morning and that was our "free time" we could write during, I had even less letter writing time than others.

Just try to hang in there and stay patient, and try not to focus too much on when others get a letter or call and stuff, because each person is going to have it a bit different (even in the same company or same ship / deployment, whatever) - and that kind of thinking can drive you crazy.

Just focus on your classes and that baby and know that no amount of stress is going to make a letter come sooner than it already is, it just makes it harder on you while you wait.

(((Hugs)))
I know I should not be so obsessed but hey it really is in my nature to over think and over worry... in 4 days atleast he'll be gone a full month and I'll be halfway there.:)
I hate bananas..lol odd because when I was a child my mother said I loved, ate em all day long. I probably am lacking something. maybe I'll try buying actual potassium instead they should have pills..

try orange juice :) its a good source of potassium too!!

:-) See, 4 days and you'll be over the hump! And I bet when you do get mail, it's going to be a stack of them all at once!

Oh - something I was meaning to mention to you that you might have fun doing -- lots of times, pg wives / girlfriends will do stuff like take a picture from the side every week, or measure their belly with ribbon, so that their Sailor can still be part of the pg, sort of something fun and fir them to look at later (and the baby can see it, too, down the line :-) )
Lol - ok, so have the pill with a sundae chaser ;-)
that sounds cute maybe I'll try doing that, hidden by the time I go to his pir I'll be completeLy Have gained a significant even more obvious bump. I gained 4 pounds lol better have a fat baby to excuse the weight gain.
Thank you for the support
Calcium? Hmm possibility.. i am lactose intolerant so rarely get any calcium or Vit. d except when i want ice cream. Pardon the bad spelling, fat fingers sensitive touch screen keypad.. my fingers hurt

Prenatal vitamins should have most of the supplements you need, the doc should have them prescribed for you.  Stay hydrated, tons of water, tea, and sports drinks that don't have caffeine or ginseng in them.  But mostly water.
