Ok, maybe some of the more experienced ladies can help me out with this one. Well my boyfriend is currently in bootcamp, he's been gone about a week and a half now. He told me forever ago about the job the he got, a dental Corpsman or something like that I think. I know that he was really happy and said it was a good job, but although he told me a little about it, I really don't know what this particular job entails. I wish that I'dve asked more questions before he left, but is there anyone that can tell me a little more about this job, like what he has to do, does he have to be gone a lot, just any info that could help me out? I'm pretty much clueless and want to learn as much as I can. Thanks ladies :)

Yeah I guess I would have to be sure that all my credits could transfer at whatever school I would end up going to. My advisor mentioned something like that to me once and Ive heard of people transferring and having to take classes over. Ugh...so many ifs! lol
yea but if you get an associates then that should be fine though :)
I did that, put my lower level classes into a General Education AA and that "preserved" them for when I got my BS (which lead to a 2nd BS!). A degree transfers easier than a bunch of "loose" credits.
Yes very true!!
So I could do that also, you think?
Yeah thats true! :) And i guess it wouldnt be the end of the world if I had to take a class over, but I sure hope I dont have to!
Something for Geo Bach...if the command does approve the Sailor to get BAH for where the familiy is (doesn't happen much)...where will the Sailor live? They have to find a place to live, or some area's have an open bay for them to live in. Really want your Sailor living in open bay while you have a nice place....or if they are on a ship they can live on the ship...which SUCKS!!!!
Yeah my husband had to live on the ship for a little while we were waiting for our place and he hated it. So much that as soon as our apt was ready he got a ride to the apt and slept there with nothing in the apt. lol But I agree I would hate for him to have to live on the ship while they were in port unless it was an absolute must. He really couldnt stand it!
