For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Loan Repayment program nightmare!
HELP!!! I need to know where to go to ask if my husband is qualified for the program, we are starting to worry about his school loans and we still have no idea if he is qualified and when those benifits will kick in! Anyone know where we need to go or who to ask?
We have been told that it's all a lie and I hope it isn't because I'm starting to freak out, because our credit has always been good and we are looking into finally having kids, but if we cant figure this out we cant start our family :( anyone please help!

My boyfriend was told he would qualify for the loan re-payment program. He was all set to join and really excited about it. He found out in April that it no longer applied to his rate and only to Musicians. It was a really hard pill to swallow but he shipped out yesterday to go to boot camp and was just proud that he has the opportunity to serve his country. We talked a lot to the recruiter yesterday and he gave him a lot of information about other programs that the Navy has that can help with his debt as well as get him to go back to school. Try to talk to the recruiter and see what they say. That is the information we were given.
