Hi everyone, I'm Alejandra :D
I've been on this site for a couple months now, just browsing and I didn't have the courage to sign up until a while ago. Umm, where do I start?? Well, I guess I can start by saying that I am in a relationship a Navy sailor named Andrew. We've know each other since 2nd grade and we were friends all through out grade school and high school. And a year after we graduated, we started dating and we've been together for almost 2 years now and we recently got engaged! We kind of had a head start on having a long distance relationship because I moved from AZ to NM :(
Gosh, I hope this isn't too long lol. When Andrew came to me and told me he wanted to enlist, I was nervous. But I was excited because I knew how happy he was to start a career. He leaves really soon, within a week and it's really starting to hit me that he's leaving. With that being said, I'm really excited to meet other Navy gf/fiances and wives and share our experinces with each other :D

Hi Alejandra
I am also new to the site and have a similar story. My bf and I have been together since high school and he left for boot camp last month on the 15. I am use to not being able to see him because we attended to different colleges but really miss talking to him!!! The site has been very helpful thus far and cant wait to attend his PIR on March 15!!
I was so afraid someone wouldn't reply, I'm glad you did lol. It's nice to be able to talk about how this experience is going, although you've experienced more than I have already. Has your bf written to you while in bootcamp? I'm worried that when my fiance goes, he won't have enough time to write.
Yes it was his wisdom teeth, he had all four removed. Yea it is I'm glad he is doing well, when we talked he just asked me to write hime everyday.
Hi! Nice to meet you! I met my Sailor in 9th grade, had crushes on each other.. moved away from each other, met again, started a long distance relationship after high school (19 months), and now he's in A School for the Navy. It's so great to meet more navy gf's, fiance's and wives. Congrats on your engagement! Looking forward to sharing good news with you.
PS. If I haven't said already, My name is Alicia D
