Ladies i need help mores than anything! I have been engaged for a year now and my fiance has been in Pensacola for a school since the end of october. He just found out friday that for his job he will be having additional school after the school he is in now. I blew up last night and couldnt help but cry. I got my hopes up soooo high and got them shot down. We were planning on getting married at the end of march beginning of april while he is home on leave before being stationed in Maryland. My question is does anyone know how long the C school is for AE's who work on P3 aircrafts?

If he has orders cut for the school I think that he should know, or have his ask his MTIs. Since he is over there already there should be somoene that knows... He might just have to be very persistent about getting that information. He might have to ask someone to help him figure out where it is on his orders or if its even there yet. I would suggest if you can fly down there get hitched now... start saving up money for moving to Maryland. If thats what you are planning on doing. Its expensive to move across country. :/ I did it once and if you dont have the savings for it then it def is hard to do. Since you both arent from FL you can go into the courthouse and walk out 30 minutes later with the papers. Then he can get you in DEERs and start that whole process.

We dont have the funds to fly me there get married and then come back me get my stuff and fly back again. And we wanna have a small wedding back here in Idaho while hes on leave. I know it'll all be hard i just wanna knoe so bad how long his school will be. He just found out friday he would be having another school.. ugh

He will still have his leave after school, the only thing which has changed is you don't know if it will be after A school, or after C school.  Many rates have C schools, in fact, every lady reading this should expect that to happen (unless it is a specialized program like nuke or subs).    Getting a C school does not cancel their leave, although the dates may shift around depending on when the school begins.  He needs to find out his start date, and where the C school will be held.

I'd need to know the specific name of his course to tell you how long it would be.  Even then, it can be difficult to find online.  There's more than one C school for most rates, could be a few weeks to a few months.

Hang in there, this is where the flexibility comes in.

I had no clue he would have c school. Im not sure he was expecting it either. He is in Pensacola now and his c school would be in jacksonville. And all i k ow is that its for the p3 aircrafts

Have him ask about the school start date.   Your plans may still be on track, or may happen after C school.  I'll try to find the school, but it isn't like knowing about A school at all.

(nevermind, found it)

Thanks. And he doesnt know the start date. He doesnt even know his for sure graduation date from a school.

I found the course description, but we can't access the schedule details.  He may be able to, or his instructors.  Or maybe not.  (CAC card required)

Does not look like a long school to me.  Month or two, maybe three.   Of course, I was an ET, so I'm just guessing.

My boyfriend went to C school in Pensacola and it was 3 months long it was for SA. He works on P3s currently, but not sure the different types of schools, or even why yours is going to C school... But my boyfriend has to finish up 2 weeks at Jax in April to finish his C school...

So maybe it'll only be a few weeks????

Thankfully, mine is stationed in Jax =)
