Hi everyone, I am new here to this website but my fiancee is doing his battle stations this week (per his letter to me) I was wondering if anyone knew the PIR date for Ship 12 DIV 326? If so could someone let me know I have to setup things for the trip (I know it's terribly late) but I wanted to make sure he passed his final exam and got through his battle stations. Please let me know and also if anyone has been to PIR's what's the best thing to wear? Are restaurant within walking distance or should I arrange for taxi pick ups? I am familiar with the chicagoland area I lived in the city for 3 years, however I want to take him to a nice restaurant and possibly pack him a back to take to the airport. What sorts of things are useful for him to have to keep him occupied while he's waiting to depart on the plane. Again all of this is so new to me please give me as much information as possible.

Thanks so very much!

My Sailor PIR was on 8/9, many girls wore summer dresses, but I always read that it tends to be cold. So I wore white pants with a blue blouse and a blazer (layers) As per restaurants there are some around town , but not walking distance. You can contact Sarge for his taxi services, they are awesome, telf 807 212 0246. He even picked us up early morning for PIR and took us back to the hotel after it. And I highly recommend for you to attend his meet & greet, that is on Thursdays in the Sundance Saloon. For the PIR date for his group you would have to join the bootcamp forum and look for his ship and division number and just follow them :) , Have lots of fun!!! and big hugs for your sailor :)

If his battlestations is this week, than his PIR will either be This Friday or Next Friday.  Depends on the day of BS21.  If he goes through it on Sun, Mon or Tues, his PIR will be on Friday,  on Wednesday or Thursday than it is most likely going to be next Friday.  I don't know the specific date, but I am sure that there is a group for it.  If you just search the ship and div, you can find a group just for that PIR date, and a discussion just for that Division.
