Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Ok ladies, I am slightly panicked but I know I might be panicking early...my husband just got a call wanting to know if he was still interested in leaving early for RTC....does this mean that they are asking him to leave? Or is this just a normal protocol to make sure he will/can? Any intell on this would be great! thank you!

If is is "still" interested, that sounds like he told them it was okay, and now there's an opening.  Sure, it could mean they want him to go right away.  But it might just be the recruiter reviewing paperwork, seeing of the  ones who requested early entry are still interested.

He doesn't have to, but it is often better to get it over and done with.  Ask him!

its his choice. he can leave early or wait until his original ship off date was. they did the same thing to my husband . we decided to go ahead and get it done with. it was only a week before he was originally suppose to ship out and he ended up being on phold for a week. he was irritated b/c he could have left the original date and been there for less time.

My BF was scheduled in July for RTC, he got a call in March and his PIR is Friday! I'd say get it over with, time flew by!

My husband got the same call. There was an opening and he left four days later. But no worries he'll be home sooner that way :) he left two months early. Now he graduates the wesk he was supposed to leave :)

Unfortunately he couldn't get the early date...we had a hiccup with an old bill we didn't really know about and had to pay plus he didn't get to confirm at the office in time since he was at work and they gave the opening away...so, it still won't be till December before he leaves. However, he told them to keep his name on the early to leave list so that if another opening for his rating came up he could get that instead. We have been looking like crazy to make sure there are NO other random misplaced bills so this doesn't happen again! We were both really disappointed...
