Hello, I'm Tency my boyfriend Raul started bootcamp last week on the 13th, I've been reading some posts and seen that with the help of their recruiter you can find out their address but I'm not sure if that's completely true. Although, it's only been a week it feels like forever that I haven't talked to him. I've written him letters I just wish I had an address to send them to.  Also, how can I find out his graduation date and do they get time to visit before heading off to A school?

Any advice and answers will be very much appreciated.

Thank you so much :)

i would contact his recruiter and get the address so you can start sending letters. He will tell you his grad date later into boot camp but its usually 8 fridays from leave date inless they get put in a "push" division which means they graduate faster than most. Leave between boot camp and A school can be anywhere from a few hours to the whole weekend. Just depends on where they go for A school. hope this answers all your questions. Good luck it will be over before you know it!!!

Thank you so much! sorry for late reply I've been swamped with work and school =/ I still don't know anything from Raul. I've tried contacting his recruiter but nothing. It's been a week yesterday since I've last heard from him and it's driving me insane. I really hope time flies by fast and slows down when I finally get to have him in my arms

Hi Tency! I'm fairly new to this as well. My boyfriend Q also started bootcamp last week on the 13th :( I can definitely agree with you on the forever part! I've been writing every day and like yourself...I'm waiting on an address. I don't have advice but it surely feels good to know I'm not the only one!

Hey! I know people on here are very supportive and even on the fb websites lots of people have good advice. I hate this waiting game. I'm still writing him everyday and hoping to get an address soon. It helps to write him, I even send him txt mssgs even though i know he won't reply but it just helps.

Hey ladies! Tency and HisQKA711! My sailor left on the 15th and I have written every day as well!  It is tough I had my worst days the last two days but I am feeling better today for whatever reason..it is a long time and after the first three days I was really down, but the support on here is awesome.  I'm still waiting on an address as well, I plan to wait for the form letter and until then I'll just keep writing a letter a day! :)

I def agree! I love getting on here and reading what everyone has to say...brightens up my days when I start to get sad! We'll get thru it..one day at a time! :)

hello :) yeah, the days are getting better specially when I'm at work and worrying about school. But it's the times I have to time to think that make it worst. Hope you hear from your sailor soon! And thank you for the support! I wouldn't even be on here if it wasn't for my sailor. He's always looking out for me. Argh I miss him :/
