my idiot uncle called yesterday and i told i miss my husband and that i hope he misses me. And he told me, "well i dont know there sure are some pretty girls in bootcamp and in a-school he has more time to  mess around with other women", So I cried I trust my husband even though we have had issues in the past but overall- i trust him. Do they have time or places in bootcamp to cheat versus the time and places they have in A- school.  I trust my husband but we are young im 20  he is 21 and we have 2 kids and still have growing to do. He called the other day to get my social for 2 minutes and I couldnt tell if he even missed me or not. SOOOOOOO im just curious should i be worried. My idiot uncle!!!!

Vonecia please do not listen to your uncle we as young women in relationships have to have trust in our men. There has been many points since my sr left that I sometimes wonder if he still feels the same way about me. And everytime I get a letter he always says how much he loves me and misses me. Trust me its hard on them they can't really be thinking about missing us they need to focus. Trust and believe they do miss us and love us. So please trust ur sr 100%. And back him up don't listen to other peoples none sense.
Yeah don't listen to him. They have ZERO time to even think about cheating let alone commit the act. If he calls for information, he doesn't have time to talk about anything else its hard but it really is only business if they call for that :/ bootcamp is hard but once its over its over and you get a lot more communication.

One thing I have learned about relationships is you cannot listen to other people about your own. I mean yea I might ask a close friend for advice or something but I only ask one friend who knows us both really well and even then she just calms me down when I am upset. but never do I ever listen to people when it comes to my relationship with my man. End of story. Bc they dont know.

Here is the deal, yea they might have the time to cheat but thats not what this is about. They would have time to cheat while deployed, at home, in or out of the Navy, on a base or off a base, on a ship or off a ship. No matter what it has been proven that a person can find a way to cheat anytime anywhere, what it comes down to is your relationship. dont worry abt BC calls. They are usually exhausted or being yelled at, or hoping they did everything right to not get yelled at. If you trust him and love him then you are fine. :) Its no different if they are in A school or at home say in college or working. There is always opportunities for it doesnt mean it is going to happen

The Navy actually has very strict policies on fraternization among the recruits, my husband’s recruiter actually explained in detail the repercussions of getting caught, it isn't pretty. I think it’s very rude and unsupportive for a family member to place such nonsensical thoughts in your head, especially in an emotional time like this. You have to be strong, keep your head up and understand he is doing this for you, his family and his future.
Wow ur uncle is way out of line!! my hubby said even pretty girls are ugly in bootcamp. they cant wear makeup and have to get horrible haircuts just like the guys. No contacts they have to wear the "birth control" glasses too. Plus they arent really allowed to "mingle". Most div are all male, and integrated divisions have separate sleeping quarters.

In Aschool they do have a lot more freedom. Here there is an all girls barracks building and boys arent allowed in, there is one girl floor in my husbands barracks and its the first floor. they have ppl who stand watch around the clock to make sure no men enter that hallway. They also have watches around the buildings and in common areas to make sure no inappropriate activity is going on. they also have to sign out with a liberty buddy at all times if they are to leave base for any reason.
There is no time for them to do anything, but what they are told while in bootcamp.  While they are in "A" School that is another story, they can do what they want after school and if they don't have duty.
I was really hurt because my uncle and he was in the navy up into 2 years ago. .the one who said it. ill be honest my husband cheated before we got married and I forgave him because he turned into a new man after we got married. we have been together 3 years now and I domt think he would ruin it now.

Desiree soon as I posted this the same day I got my first letter from him and it sounds like yours... He said he misses me and his kids and thinks about us.all the time. so I guess being patient pays off.

But I have a question I enlisted in the navy but was discharged before I left.because I was pregnant with our first child. my recruiter told me that some girls go to bootcamp and leave pregnant and they werent that way when they got there. HOW?

we know how they got preg lol.... But they are not suppose to be doing that. I found this on the web:

Fraternizing

  • Recruits and Navy boot camp Petty Officers or trainers are not permitted to engage in flirting or intimate relations with each other. Female and male recruits are not permitted to flirt or engage in intimate relations with one another either. Both instances of fraternization are punishable under the Navy Rules of Conduct.

I know during bootcamp there's no fraternizing but i am not sure about afterwards. But Voneica we are not worrying about that we have great men :)
Thanks Desiree you are a sweet heart. And NO we are not worried at all. We have to trust.them because they have to trust us. I really hope that no one in bootcamp is doing anything because if they can control their hormones maybe their in the wrong business instead maybe they can try THE REAL WORLD, JERSEY SHORE, COLLEGE HILL... YOU KNO some like that
lol
you got that right lol... STAY AWAY FROM OUR MEN!!!!!!
