My boyfriend left September 1st he's in division 356 and I received his first letters today!! I have been reading them over and over! So any ladies waiting it's very worth it! The first couple weeks were hard especially because I had to be ready to go to college also. Just to know he's ok and doing well makes me happy! Time has also been flying 3 weeks has gone by super fast! I'm curious though when did you guys receive the first call? Was it during their free time on sunday week 4 or when is the time he'll most likely call?? I want to make sure i'm in a place where I have really good phone service!

here is the link to your PIR group http://www.navyformoms.com/group/pir-10-28-2011-ship-12-div-355. So glad that you are getting letters. I know that you are writing him daily...so he should be getting your letters now as well.

Congrats on your first letter! My sr left sept 13 and what i have heard is they can call any time between week 3 and 4 and the times they call are random, depending on how their division is doing. Again i don't know this personally it's just what i have been told! But I hope you get a call soon!
Alright hope my phone decides to work correctly. His call didn't go through when he tried when he got to the base safely... ended up calling his dad...
Your boyfriend and mine is in the same division. If you need anyone to talk to I'm here. Did he call today? My boyfriend called today, but called his mother. I understand why he did it, but oh well....i hopes he calls me next time
He called me today! I was so excited I was having a bad day and worrying and it helped a lot... He said he spent all the time with me because he forgot his mom's phone number and warned me that next time it's shared which I understand why but I dont like it. He said the next call is possibly in a couple weeks so maybe you'll get part of that one?
I hope so. We have been together for seven years and we have a one year little boy that I would love to tell him that he is trying to walk now. It has been a bad week for me....So hoping that he would call me today just really hurt my feelings, but I understand why he called her house. He thought I would be there picking up the boys after I got off work, but I was off today and he didnt know that.
:( oh my! Your situation is so different then mine i'm a new college student and he honestly only remembers my number and his dad's number! I bet your guy will be stoked to hear about your little one though! Have you at least gotten letters from him yet? I was doing really good with trying to like focus on other things but these last few days it has been seriously a big challenge and all I can think about is his PIR!
