Are you kidding me? Honey you won't get anything from a week to two weeks depending on your mail. The first week he is there is all medical and paperwork and in the first 3 days 20% of them are sent home. So you won't receive anything for a while. You will get your phone call that is 10 seconds saying I'm here and I'm ok and that's it. Hang in there your rolloer coaster is just starting.
Sorry- I have read from others that some were lucky enough to get the form as early as 3-5 days after receiving the box,I know most cases are longer but was just curious if anyone got lucky and had any info

I would probably ask right right away too :) I hope you get the PIR update soon ! :)))

Thanks.. my work is pretty strict on their seniority and putting in for pto time and stuff just anxious to get the date and get my time put in and approved :)
Omg, I know how you feel. My job requires 60 days out for a time off request. And for the summer, we have to put it in for April 15. I also have the least seniority in my entire department. I put in for 12 days this week, with my husband not set to ship until June and rolled the dice. Praying i picked the right weekends and nothing will change. But by April 15, I probably still wouldn't even have a clue.
Yay the form came today pir 4-7-17!

hi! my BF left that are day! i got one letter already. have you heard from your loved one yet?

Aw! That's great you received a letter! I have not received one yet.. I received the form and then yesterday I received some paper work for insurance.. we sent our first letter out on Saturday to him hoping in the next few days to hear something from him.. I will feel so much better once I have some contact from him. I will update as I hear from him I would love to hear your updates as well.. what ship & Division is ur bf in? Mines ship 14 division 114 that may be the reason I haven't heard from him yet, maybe he's a diff division

My husband is also in ship 14 division 114, that means our husbands are together! that is exciting, I have yet to receive a letter also, I am trying to be patient!

I got a letter with a form about people who want to attend graduation with a record. As within that form were some letters from him. I haven't received a graduations invite yet. But I'm his letter he did say the first 5days are "p" days. Processions for medical and etc. he's in ship11 division 111. He did say he had to do a chest X-ray because of his tb skin test reaction. And he did say after the 5 days they are going to be transferred to the actual bootcamp across the road.
@hooyahsuzy oh thank you.

My husband also left on February 7th! I have received information about graduation and insurance, however I have not gotten a letter from him yet.
