My boyfriend left about two weeks ago and I still haven't heard anything. I've seen different answers to when the first letter would come but not sure which one is correct. I knew I wouldn't get anything the first week but can I expect something soon? Checking the mail every day and not receiving anything is bumming me out more then I already am...

i'm right there with you! my boyfriend left two weeks ago as well! from what i know it wasn't until yesterday (sunday) they were given the chance to write and send letters home, so hopefully we'll both get letters soon!

Hopefully that's the case. I've been dying for a letter, life seems so boring now that he's gone.

I know! I moved to live with my sister hoping to keep myself busy, but nothing seems to keep me busy enough! T-minus 46 days! :)

Is that when your boyfriends graduation is??

Yeah, October 5th. Do you know when your boyfriends is? Oddly enough countdowns help me a lot! It's nice to know the time is getting less and less.

My boyfriends is Sept 28, so almost a month! I originally thought his was going to be a week or two into Oct but guess not. Although I like the fact I get to see him earlier, it's gonna be hard because I begin classes the 26 so it's pretty early to be missing class.

Yeah, thankfully i don't have any classes till winter quarter! That is a bummer though!

Lucky lol. Well either way I'm excited to see him

Hi,

You will most likely get a letter on Wednesday of the third week. Then one every week on Wednesday, hopefully. You may get a call that third week, too. It was so hard to keep running to the mailbox before we knew what to expect. I wish we'd known not to even look until that third week. Hang in there.

If I do get a call, do you know how long it may last? But then again, I'd take anything at this point. Thanks

I got a call midway through & it was 10 mins. Yes, anything is better than nothing. I kept my phone with me at all times, even when I'm in the shower. I did not want to miss it. For my emotional comfort but mainly for his. I've heard it's very difficult for them emotionally when they do get to call but they don't connect.

That's a bad habit I'm taking on, not taking my phone everywhere with me. Lately I don't even remember he may call so I just leave it behind. My boyfriends a tough one, not very emotional so we'll see how that phone call goes if he calls lol
