I'm a Navy Wife and I created this group back when I was a girlfriend and my now husband had gone to bootcamp. Its funny because i joined this website when they had under 50 members. This website has been sooooo helpful and I met so many people on here that gave great advice. I made this group so that we could all come together and give eachother advice and share ideas. I see that this group is growing more and more by the day, Im happy to see that because so many wives/fiances/and girlfriends are clueless when it comes the military lifestyle. Not knowing what to expect and not knowing about deployments, bootcamp, duty stations, etc. I want this to be the place you all recommend because so many people on this site are knowledgeable and very helpful. Once again thanks for joining my group and i hope you get all the information you need. I dont get to log on as much as i used to but i try my best to get on here. So if u have any questions feel free to make a discussion topic and Im positive that it will get answered if not, inbox me :-) Take Care ♥

I had my first experience this weekend with his mom going to visit him... UGH! I couldn't go along with her and after she ruined my time with him graduation weekend after boot, I was completely jealous that she was down there having dinner with him and going to the beach with him and I wasn't. I don't even know when I'll be able to go visit him since I have to get my parents permission. Meanwhile, my jealousy got the best of me and even though I was good all weekend, I told him how I felt. And we had our first big fight over the stupidest thing ever. I'm so ready to marry him and be the most important woman in his life.

The "sexually empowered woman" term is great.
Comment by Anti M on April 25, 2010 at 6:19pm
LOL, I could tell stories about being a single "sexually empowered woman" but not on a public board. Better sitting around over drinks!

That was in the Dark Ages, of course.

June is warm, but it can rain and get chilly in an instant. Take a very light jacket or sweater.

Haleymay, I know it wasn't directed at me, I was just being super-cautious.

LOL, stinky men!
Comment by Anti M on April 25, 2010 at 5:25pm
I'm jumping on the words, not the person. I hope that comes across in print, because we'd be fine if we were speaking in person.
Comment by Anti M on April 25, 2010 at 5:20pm
I didn't say you were making things up ... I responded to a hurtful comment on a public board. I didn't use your name on purpose, I just wanted to remind everyone that such statements are generally false rumors and not good for the heart, nor the professionalism of sailors. Why would you repeat such a mean thing where so many can read it?

I went to Great Lakes for A school. Same damn thing then too.
Comment by MrsOryD*Ship12~Div183* on April 25, 2010 at 5:06pm
Ok, so I am obviously the one who made that comment and I have to say, that I personally have a friend, a female friend, who went to A-School in Great Lakes. This is not me just saying crap to hurt people or make people feel scared. A few other girls and I were talking about it last night and it was just a comment. Im sorry if you dont like my comment, but you dont have to suggest in your comments that im lying or starting rumors. Sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings, but it wasnt directed toward anyone but the three other girls I was talking to.
