Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

orders???
my sailor has asked me to look up some of the orders that a GM can possible get, i dont know where to start but he would like me to see what jobs he could get assighned so that i can give him a list of orders and a description so that he can see what options he may have. is this possible at all i have looked and all i get is a list of rates and thats not what i am looking for. any ideas?

ok so he gave me more specific info. he wants to join small arms, VLS, or sea b these are just a few that he listed but all that i could remember any ideas?

I really think he has access to that info, but you probably can't get to it. I'll ask my GM, but in nine years, I've never been able to look at a list of orders. The local recruiter might be able to tell you more.

i did get some info but more options than orders so i just got a list of jobs for him to chose from but idk what he really even asked me but i told him what i found and hope it helped but i told him its his job and he would have to chose idk what i would be getting into.
do anyone have any ideas on groups to join for either small arms or VLS for GM's thats what he is considering..
