FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

My son is a reserve who just learned he is going active to Iraq and graduating April 25th. I would love extra tickets  if anyone has extra and can let their recruit know the name

don't want him to go to afganistan linda - do you think I can send a note to his command on "our" behalf?

Nick's last weekend home - he flies out on Wednesday. We have a picnic scheduled with all the GA moms tomorrow and then......Army boy arrives...he is bringing the engagement ring! I will have 2 nicks in the house and a happy daughter! Keep you posted.

Hi all! Ohh Angie...hoping #2 is back to normal now. If you would like us to send a card of support to him - pm his address to me.

We just returned from a week at HHI with both of our kids and suspect it will be a long time before we vacation as a family again. Nick is still on leave but will be heading out next week to report to his first ship.

Also my #2 son called the other night from boot camp..YEAH!! His was home picking up his car so he got to talk to him and get some BC advise...LOL....#2 said he has tendonitous (SP) in his ankles...said he is on LLD please pray for his ankles so he can pass his running test.I think you all can remember how exciting it was to get a unexpected phone call!! 5 more weeks to go!!

Hi all...I survived theTiger Cruise...and lets just say I have all new appreciation of how our sailors have to live and go through...Here is a picture of his ship coming into FL to pick up us Tigers
