My son has finished his deployment to GTMO and has returned to his home base. I wonder if the reason he didn't recieve his packages is because it was a deployment with the rest of his battalion spread around the world. The package I sent to my son in April just came back to us, dribbling its smashed contents. We wonder where it went, if only it could talk.

I wish all of you the best life has to give. Goodbye.

Are your sailors recieving their letters and packages? I learned in July that the package I sent to my son in April never arrived. Of the four letters I sent in June one arrived. Unfortunately when I learned this I had just sent him a birthday package, which has not arrived. He may leave there shortly so maybe he will never get his packages. Is there any chance they be forwarded to his next address?

Well, my son's ship never made it over to GTMO. But they are out there doing their job! Can't say where they are at the present time. Hope all is well with everybody here.

We are having our first meet and greet here in So Cal area on March 1st and can't wait.

Wishing all safe travels here hope everybody will be able to talk with their loved ones over the holiday. My son's ship may not make it all the way to GTMO Bay after all. But that could change later.

My Seabee son is deploying to Guantanamo Bay. He is a little disappointed since he was hoping to explore a foreign country. What is it like there? Is it hard not being able to leave the base?
