No Michelle, I am not going to return, only because we paid for it all ourselves. I only had to take out 1 3,000 dollar loan in the 4 yrs I was going. Finacially we can't do it anymore. I did Pharmacy before too and I really liked it. I didn't realize I like X-ray as well as I did too though. I am 42 and I know that isn't old or anything but I feel like it is when it comes to school.
Yes there is an Ohau site, don't know if I spelled that right or not, can't think off hand. I talked to my sailor yesterday and he actually talked for the entire time. He sounded so happy and so relieved to on leave this week. He took it off to spend time with his girlfriend and then she broke up with him. She was only 18 and he is 22. Not that, that is much of difference but she just graduated highschool last year and seems like she is a little wild. She told him that he was good and she was like bad and that he was too good for her. They just live 2 seperate lives and he may get out for good, may be by the end of the year. Not sure on that yet.
HAPPY 4TH OF JULY. God bless all of you and your families sacrifice for all the service of your sailors and families.
I am here Michelle. I am usually on the other Hawaii site. Thank you. I am sure we will enjoy our time down there, only 12 more days.
Oh I didn't tell you either, I didn't make it this passed semester. I had to find a job. So now I work for Giant Eagle pharmacy. I was pharm tech before, so I just went back to that.
Hi Michelle welcome back and you to Dorthee.
So what do they do with a ship once it is dcommisions?
Your son is making historeee! with that ship. I know it, the Big "E" has been around forever; will be odd to see her go.Am surprised tho they going out again - thought the last was supposed to be their last. And 14 ports, that's about 2 a month?? Lots of places for them to see.. dang, wish I could go, how about you? Will watch their travels and keep your sailor in my thoughts.
Big bathroom problem on the B? Ooooh, going to have to check that out, I haven't heard!!
My son still in Norfolk, and yes, think he just goes when on deployment. They've had underways and he didn't go, he's aviation maintenance. He likes being with the squadron, they're the Tridents, he says it feels more like a family, versus the big city of a carrier. Mind you, I heard more from him when on deployment with a carrier than I do these days, haha ;-)
Thank you JIC. The same to you to too. I wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Merry Christmas & Happy New Years to all of you! For thos
e who are celebrating with their soldier for Christmas, enjoy every moment & hold them tight. For those of you who are not as fortunate to get to spend Christmas with their soldiers I send a great big hug to you & your family & pray you will be reunited soon!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you and your family.
Hi all, how is everyone. Not much going on here lately I see. Well hope all is well with everyone. I have a question though. Doesn't look like we will be coming down in there in June, it will have to wait til July with my clinicals and all. So is it really hot in July or what is it like there at that time. I guess it doesn't matter we coming one way or the other but just curious. I am excited just to know we will have an attentive date now. I am looking forward to it so much.
I heard from my sailor in an email and I may have told you guys this but he said when he gets out he wants to go to school for Psychology. He is into Philosophy too. I am happy for him. I would have never seen that coming but good for him. He didn't know what he was going to do but now he does.
I just found out too my nephew is leaving for the Navy November 28th. Now does anyone know will they shut down for Christmas and let them come home or will they shut down and make them stay there for the holiday. I am happy he is going but my sister is going to be a mess like the rest of us were at that time of ours leaving. She is not one to let ya know about her feelings but I we all know what she will be going thru. Anyways, don't know if anyone can answer that question for me or not, or point me to somewhere that can.
