Hello everyone. I hope all is okay with you guys. Must be busy around here. we had another busy weekend because we had my stepdaughters grad party. It all turned out good.

Well my son, my Airman, is off to Iraq today. i am doing okay but have my moments too. He doesn't actually leave until 10pm tonight an dhe will arrive there at 1245 am their time. which will really be around 5 or 6 am our time. He will be 7 hours ahead of me. they both will be that far ahead me now.

So I hope all is well with everyone down there.

I am excited, it is not set in stone yet but I think we will coming down to hawaii next summer. Hubby wants to see how financially set we are in Jan or Feb and then make the plans. He belongs to Best Western Rewards and he has at least 8 days that we could stay for free. We were looking at Best Western near the hotel and Wikiki, I know that it not how you spell it but you know what i mean. He works out of town a lot and has a ton of points saved up. That is how we stayed in a really nice hotel back in October when we went to see my other son graduate from the Airforce. We stayed from Wednsday to Sunday and only paid 50 bucks for the whole time. I sign him up for offers too to get vouchers and we get free nights that way too. So get the drinks ready and cross your fingers that I will maybe get to meet some of you. :) oh and spend time and see my son as well, LOL.

Daysleeper, send me a personal message and give me the recipe for that. I would like to try it. I need some energy and maybe it could help my underactive thyroid too. Ya never know. Ya know I do tell my little girl a hug and kisses everyday. I don't think we don't have a day we don't give kisses. As you know right now school is a blessing for me to be home with her all the time too. I actually don't want to go to work because of it when I am out of school. I get to do so much with her. Her and I went on vacation with my cousin and her kids last year and this week, well today we are leaving to go up to our camper. We have  seasonal site at a campground that is an hour away and me, my cousin and our 5 kids will be going for a couple of days. I know we maybe crazy but they are all great kids and listen pretty good. I do get depressed too every once in a while too. When I get to thinking about things i get that way and cry a lot. So if those smoothies will help that would be great. I think my hubby would like them too if they give you energy and endurance. Maybe I will look them up on Youtube then too. Thanks for the info. Do they help with your weight as well? I think if I had more energy I would maybe excercise more and lose weight. Ya know I just love talking to you. You give such great advice and great info on here. Glad to have friends, even though I have never met you, like you.

Sue, My son is also on the Port Royal. What does your son do? Mine a CTR5. I have sent him emails but never hear from him. I really wished he let me know how things are and I have gotten phone calls when they ported but other than that, that is it. He has never been a great emailer anyways, so I am not expecting too much but I wished he would just send one.

Green Smooties, Daysleeper, what are those made of? My hubby over does it at work too he works for a cable company around here. He mostly has been working out of state, in West Virgina and it has been so hot for him lately. It is more of the humidity than anything else. What kind of dog do you have? I am a cat person but do like dogs as long as they are not in my house. I could handle an outside dog but none here for now. My daughter wants one in the worst way too. My daughter got her spacers on her teeth today. Now next week she will get fitted for her expander and then get that on here in 2 weeks. They start them out so early but she really needs it. She has teeth coming in everywhere. She wouldn't even loose her baby teeth and the adult teeth would be coming in behind them. Crazy.

Aloha fellow moms. I haven't been on N4m's in a while. We are going thru our first deployment and I knew just were to go for info on care packages! Need I say I wasn't disappointed. My son is on the USS Port Royal. We communicate by email daily, but unfortunately I couldn't be there when they pulled out.I was able to find articles and photos on NavyTimes.com, Navy.mil and Stars and Stripes.I also posted the photos on here. I hope this helps others as much as it helped me, as I am planning on making a scrapbook for him.

Daysleeper, I know when mine is Hawaii he usually calls me about 2pm down there and it is 8pm here. Well in the winter it is only 5 hours so the times aren't too bad between here and there. If I text him he doesn't text me back anyways so i just gave up on that. If I need him at any time I will text him and tell him to call when he gets time too. Although, he is not a big talker so sometimes I think texting would be better anyways.

So how is everyone else?

Daysleeper, thank you and that jerky sounds wonderful. I love jerky.

So how is everything there? Not too bad here. The sun isn't shining as bright today but that is ok we need a little break. We need some rain!

Talked to my sailor this morning at 4am and it was 4pm his time. Man that boy needs to figure out the time differences,LOL. I told him I don't care what time he calls though as long as I get to talk to him. I was checking skype but he was unavalible,sp, this morning. Which it would be night time for him. He is having fun though. I think I need a nap though because someone called for my MIL lastnight at 1145 pm, I was not happy about that. Oh well. My daughter is at a daycamp this week from 930 to 3pm and I am hoping she is having fun. It is for 4H. Some of her friends are going too so she will be ok.

Well have a great day.

Well I hope you all had a great 4th of July. We did. We went camping and my friend and I went to Kenny Chesney at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh. We had a great time. He is such a great entertainer.
Well I heard from my sailor at 2am this morning. He sounded good and it was great to hear his voice. It was 4 pm where he was. We talked for 40 minutes because the he had to go. I know we would have talked more if we could've. He is happy so that makes momma happy. He said it is okay on the ship. I think he is liking all the places he is going to see. I asked him if he had his camera and I told him he had better take some pics of the places he goes. I hope he does. It would be great to see things through his eyes.

Hello! My son just arrived in Honolulu early Sunday morning. He doesn't have to report to work until Tuesday, wish they would have let him stay home a couple of days longer instead!

I am exicited I got a "B" for my final grade in my A&P 2 class. Ya me!!

Mia had a tooth pulled today and goes and gets the other out next Tuesday now. They wouldn't do both at the same time as to not traumatize her all in one day. Now she knows what to expect she was really nervous about this morning. She did wonderful.

Well hope all is good with you guys.
