Dorthee, enjoy your son while he is home. Give him a hug for me too.

Michelle, I was looking at your pics on facebook and that one of that lady with the thong, NOW THAT WAS SOO FUNNY. There is no way in heck you would ever catch this butt in a thong,no even underwear. Your sons are so handsome too. Your whole family is.

Michelle, I sent you a message with a link to an article. Hope your sailor is doing well, I bet they'll have some fun days!

Mine comes home for a week today, I'm feeling like a kid at Christmas.

(((Big hug, Marcy)))... I know how you're feeling right now...
I haven't heard anything, but they usually don't release information until after they've left. I'll keep my eyes open and will let you know if I see/hear anything. Hang in there, friend.

Michelle. I am having trouble sending stuff on here. When I go to the page and reply I hit send and it won't send for some reason. Welcome to my group Allmoms. It is a small group but get comfy and join in anytime you want. There are some great ladies on there. Some don't get on very much but it is a nice little group.

If anyone went to the Port Royal sending off let me know how it went. I wished I lived there so I could go to it and when in comes home. Kinda sad today because Sailor is leaving but trying not to think about it. I talked to him lastnight for a little while but he doesn't talk much and it is so hard to talk to someone when they are not in a talkative mood. I miss him so much. He said he still may or may not reenlist he still has time to decide. I just told him it would be great to have him home but there isn't much back here for him either. Go see the world while you can and enjoy it. I know we all go thru the same thing on here so that is why it so easy to talk to you guys.

Hey is anyone going to the USS Port Royal send off today, if so let me know how it goes. I really wish I could be there for it. Talked to my sailor lastnight and I cried of course

Michelle, I keep trying to send it to you and it won't let me send for some reason. Why don't you send me a pm and see if I can find you on facebook. How cool you saw her. I am so glad your son is okay and you heard from him too.

Daysleeper, I wish it was me who was going to Maui but it is not, LOL. I sometimes get this site and my other Hawaii site mixed up too.

Michelle, I am on facebook and I will send you a pm so you can find me on there too. I know my sailor will be leaving soon too. If any of that happens to him I think it will send him over the edge of the Navy. One time you talk to him he is signing back up and then the next time he is not. So who knows what he will do. In away I want him to stay but part of me wants him home too because it has been 4 yrs now and I miss having him around. Although there is nothing back here for him, job wise. Yeah he will go to school he says but then he may have to move to another state to get a job too anyways.

Thanks, I am sure I will have fun. My friends i go with are so much fun. One year we got lost in Pittsburgh and we stopped to ask a "girl" for directions and it ended up not being a girl, it was a guy dressed like a girl and he came to the window and when he spoke you should have seen the look on our faces. It was hilarious. I think we laughed all the way home. He was a transvestite, spelling on that one. I can park at my school which is just right up around the corner from Hienz Field and that way we won't have to park in all the garbage that people leave behind and glass too. The best part is it is FREE.

Oh boy Dorthee, if my son loses any weight on ship you won't be able to see him. He will blow away in the wind.LOL. He is so skinny anyways. Maybe I should go instead of him, now I could use to lose a few pounds. Ha Ha!

Wow Michelle, I wouldn't be sleeping well either!!  Are they still having a tiger cruise? Or maybe not if all port visits are cancelled. Truman didn't have one either, I think they do everything possible to ensure arriving back on schedule.

What a ride it has been for your sailor...  I would definitely get that cruise book!

My son lost some pounds during deployment; if yours did too, please don't be alarmed, I hear that's quite common. And he didn't have much of an appetite at first when he got back. Plus he'd been working nights. So it took some time to get back to normal. I had a wonderful time loading him up with vitamins, fruits & vegetables and huge plates of food, tee hee ; )

I'm glad you have the Maui Film Festival to take your mind off... enjoy!!  And sending prayers to Enterprise, the entire Strike Group, your sailor, and you.  For safe travels and smooth sailing the rest of the way.

Marcy I'm not familiar with Kenny Chesney, but thrilled for you - I hope you have a blast at the concert!

Oh I would probably be willing to try the nori, not sure of that or the sushi. I have never ate either one. Sounds good on the Mai Tais.
Ya know I just love this site and all of you. Even though I don't know you in person, I feel like I do because we talk almost everyday.
I am sooo excited, in 2 weeks I get to see my man Kenny Chesney. I just love him. I tell people he is my 2nd husband that I only get to see once a year but the only thing is he doesn't share the wealth. LOL. Does anyone like him? We will go camping and then me and my bestie will be going on July 2nd to see him. It has been 2 yrs since I last saw him in concert. Zac Brown Band, Billy Currington, Uncle Cracker are all going to be with him. He usually has more than that but the only one I don't care for is Uncle Cracker. I like some of his songs but don't really care for him a whole lot. Oh well it will be a great concert got great tickets and seats. I should for paying 145.00 for them and that is just mine. My bestie and another good friend goes with me. We have a great time. Just don't like to put up with all the drunks though. They get so anoying.

Marcy, nori is an edible seaweed. Sushi is often wrapped with it. Yummy.. Ok I'll start mixing the Mai Tais.

Michelle - are you ordering the Enterprise cruise book? I recently received ours and its so awesome!! Very special keepsake.
