Does anyone know what to expect once the arrive at Coronado as far as communication and liberty? My bf should be there mid April and we are trying to see if there is a way for me to fly out and visit him for a weekend, maybe after he graduates basic. Does anyone know if that could be possible? I am VERY new to this and I don't know very much about the abbreviations or what to expect, so try not to use too much Navy jargon just yet. lol.

HI Sea Sick...give me a call at 704-575-0649...I know I can help you tons!
Any time today except between 3-4...also my email is wellen@comporium,net
I was wondering the same for myself and our son... My hubby will arrive in Coronado around May 15th. Is SWCC training like basic were they are not allowed any communication? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
I suggest emailing wellen, she told me some stuff that was pretty helpful. I will share with you what I know if you want to email me, apparently we are not supposed to really discuss SWCC on a public stream, and I will tell you what I know/have heard (or what I think that I know at least). Keep in mind that I am very new to thins, but I have gotten a few answers.
That would be awesome! What is your email address?
