Thank you MJ for delivering them to Caleb, I hope you have a pleasant trip.  Caleb is getting out as well.  He wants to go to college.  His enlistment is up in Feb so he will be back stateside by then if not before.

Caleb made PO2 as well!  So sorry for Mark... that is so difficult.  I am glad some of you will have your sailors home for Christmas.  Mine is coming in Jan. sometime... I just hope the weather cooperates.  Can't wait to see him!

Well ladies, the wedding that was supposed to happen 1/2/12 has been cancelled indefinitely. I'm sad to say that Mark's girl was not cut out to be a sailors wife. My son is sitting on that ship completely heart broken.  Every servicemans nightmare.  It's just a shame but better now then later when grandbabies are here I suppose.   :o(

No I haven't heard from Caleb yet but I think he has been trying.  It's hard with his cell phone.

It amazes me that you all know about the typhoons. Mark called last night to wish his dad a happy birthday and never mentioned anything about rough seas.   He did say they would not be able to be reached for a while.  I'll keep you posted if I hear anything.

Off to the races again...I'm hoping for smooth sailing until they come home safe.

Mark is not in these pictures but I did copy it and ask him if he knows any of the guys. He said they all are in his shop, he knows all of them. In fact, news to me, the Sailor on the far left on the ship pic will be a groomsman at Mark's wedding next year.  I learn new things everyday. :o)

I am a news junkie and didn't see the report on the crash at all. I'm so sad. Mark has friends there. I'll be thinking good thoughts for them.

Thank you all for posting as often as you do. I wouldn't know anything without you.
