April 13th is my sisters birthday... only once has it fallen on a Friday in her lifetime... boy did we tease her that year! Congrats on the new little one in the family!

Here is hoping we all hear from our sailors this Mothers day... whether it be a call or card! Wishing one and all a wonderful day!

Happy Easter to all and all your sailors. I haven't been on in awhile but have been catching up on all the post. Robert just called and he recieved the box of Easter goodies that we (mom, grandma and auntie) sent him. You could hear all the guys with him yelling thanks mom. They will sure have a sugar high this afternoon. This will be the first full holiday that we won't see Robert so I have been trying to hang in there. I am glad we never made a big deal of Easter outside of church as then it might not bee so lonley without him. But my other 2 children are coming for diner and my mom so we will call Rob in the afternoon. It will be nice. Also only 3 more months till July when we hope to have him home, or at least get to Georgia to see. Well I have to get back to work. Happy Easter to all...Paulette

Hello there everyone, I too have been away for a while. Busy, busy! I got my blue star as well. It was a kind thing for grantham to do! Today is my sailors birthday, has been a long six months since he went in, for m that is, he loves it! :) He will be coming home after his grad from A School. His birthday is today, so we wont have long to wait to see him and celebrate his birthday.

I hope all is well with each of you and your SAILORS!

Serena, for a while buildasign.com was offering free 2 x 4 banners for military families... nice banner even customized with what you want it to say... you might check them out! Not sure if the offer is still available... I will keep my ears open for another opportunity.

Barbara: congrats on the new Corpsman..Awesome! (my sailor son considered that very seriously at first,he is interested in the medical aspect of things, but then chose Aircrew)
Kell: glad you're feeling better
Kim: how are you?
Must tell you all something...what a great connection we all have here!...my son in high school needed to connect to a SeaBee for his school 'issues" project, and boy, did he get some GREAT interviews via email, with the help of Sea Bee moms in their 'group' here. It will really enhance his presentation.
Wow...aren't we lucky we have such a wonderful community of Navy Moms and families?

Love this website!!
