I wish I could figure out how to get a video on here. I made a video of my son's PIR, but that was April of 08 and I've slept since then. Mine are going crazy frolicking and jumping and chasing each other as the snow is coming down. I captured it, so lovely to see them play. They didn't know what to make of it, but it was 27 the next morning. That hardly ever happens.

Beth, you spoke of the feed store. We are losing the land this week we have taken care of for 11 years. Its adjoining property, and we still have 20 acres, but will have to cut the herd in half. We usually have sold 3 a year, but last year we only sold one and none this year at all. I don't think any of you live close, but if you know of anyone, we are selling for 4 and 600.00. We are fortunate to not live in West TX where its dry and all cactus. Here in East Tx, we get so much rain, there is lots of plentiful grass, so we can have more horses per acreage than say, someone in AZ or NM perhaps.

Absolutely. So much to do and see. There were things my husband and I did together after we dropped him off on Sunday. It was hard to see through the tears though. I will say this, at every good-bye, I cry less and less. Last 2 times, I didn't let him see me cry at all- that takes a lot of pressure off him.

Well ya'll, my little colt has been aggravating my 3 geldings. He goes from one to the other, whoever will stand him the longest. He puts both hooves over their necks and stands up, they walk away and one hoof falls, then they turn in circles, and he still has one hoof over the neck so it looks like their dancing...

Connie, just glad you heard from him, thats a relief. As you know, mine has 3 wks additional school tagged on and then he's home for 3 1/2 weeks and off to Japan, so I have a short while before I have to bawl and cry at the airport when he leaves for Japan.

Beth I do love it. I wouldn't be here if one of our group members didn't tell me about the Naval Air Base on Coronado South for $27.00. But here I am and my sailor looks wonderful. At the graduation, we (parents, wives, girlfriends) agreed to have dinner tomorrow night. That is so special. More friends!

Connie, I did post some pics in the discussions, so it wouldn't take up room here.

Connie, we'll have to talk more about Japan in the group, I have to absorb myself in knowledge to get through it! Mary sent me a link to the 7th fleet. Do you go on there? What I like about my apps is some have a slightly dished face (though not quite as pretty as the arabs) that makes their faces look so pretty. I get my computer back tomorrow, I'll look for a head shot.
