FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Not really, no.  But there is a spouses page on facebook.  And there is an adult social for the spouses/signifcant others this weekend.  Great chance to go out a meet some ladies going through the same thing you are (:

Hello Everyone,

My husband is on the IKE we just moved to this area in May.. He is a Nuke ET anyone in the Norfolk area?

Hello, not sure if this is still an active group, but wanted to introduce myself! My husband graduates prototype in 2 weeks, and we will be up in Norfolk on the IKE end of July! He is an MM nuke. We have a 1 1/2 year old son, and one on the way! :)

Hi ladies! My husband and I just moved to Norfolk yesterday, and he is joining the Ike on the ninth. I would love to get involved in whatever spouse/family group it is that y'all have up here. Let me know if you have any adviceor information about anything I should know. Thanks, and I look forward to meeting all of you!

Hello!!!!!

I don't think I have written on this groups page before. My fiance and I will finally be getting married next month and I will officially be an IKE wife. It would be nice to maybe meet some of you ladies. =D

Hi D! Yeah he wants to live in VB and I love VB so we might end up there, but IDK cause I am going to be going to ODU. Yes, I will be at homecoming I am just ocunting down the days one by one. It's getting so much CLOSER!!!!!!!! =]
