Mommagoose - so glad to hear your getting some relief. I understand the mowing thing my boys had to do our lawn in sections.

thanks for the well wishes - appreciate that!

Hey Ceejay, In east central Illinois we are starting to dry out a bit but expect rain all week long.  My hubby is frantically trying to mow before the rain hits tomorrow.

My kiddo is waiting patiently in SC for the next thing....  semper Gumby all the way....  have a safe trip and enjoy your time with your sailor.

Ceej0347, Yes!  I've already talked to him.  He called when he got on the bus from the airport.  I was so excited!!

They don't have NROTC, or ANY ROTC at my kids' school.

Hi all!!  I survived PIR, and we're back home. EVERYONE in the house is asleep, including my 10 year old.  It was an exhausting two days!!  My sailor just boarded his connecting flight, and will be on his way to Pensacola!!  I'm so excited for him!

@Ceej0347, my senior wants to join the Navy now, after seeing my oldest graduate yesterday, but he plays football, so he wants to go AFTER playing football in college.

My daughter is super excited.  We plan to head up for scholarship day in february and then to teach her to take the train system in March.  It’s going to be weird being down to one child at home.

Congratulations on your sailors! Enjoy PIR

Ceej0347, you are now a mentor. I'll see if I need to do anything else. I always hot linked any weird requests or bogus members to the admin. That is the very first and oldest friend you have.
