I am up for anywhere, since we could possibly car pool too. More so if I don't know where I am going lol
Well gals let's see what we can do about getting together before Sanmor and I get busy marching. LOL Does anyone have a problem with meeting up in Springfield? That way some of the gals down that way can make it. Or if there is another destination you would like to meet just let us know. I know that I could use a Navy Mom lunch pretty soon. Any dates that would work before September? Let's get together. Let me know and I will see about getting it together.
navym29, I am in Carlinville.
An update about my son...He left for GL in early Oct 2010. He will be graduating from nuclear protoype training this Friday. His wife of 4 wks flew out to Charleston, SC to attend his graduation & the 2 of them will make the long trip back to IL where he will be home on leave for Aug before reporting to Pearl Harbor. Heaven only knows when he will be home again, so I am really looking forward to having him home for a bit. I guess I'll be planning a Hawaiian vacation some time next year...
I would love to meet for lunch however I do work Saturdays until 12:30, if it was a late lunch I could make it or come alittle late. Just let me know and I will do my best to make it.
You know I am there for a lunch {:oD
I am also in the same boat as medic mom, not available during marching season.
Navym29 any time you wanna meet just let us know. It would be great to get together. Right now I have Saturdays free for a little bit. Marching band season doesn't get rolling until the first Saturday in September. Then my Saturdays get busy until the first Saturday in November. Just name a day and a place and time and I am sure we could get some of us gals together and enjoy a LONG lunch and Navy talk.
Jn/Jf Mom that is great. My son is a Greenside Corpsman. He loves it. I got to hear the best description of a Greenside Corpsman from my cousin who is in the Army. He called them Marines trapped in a Sailors body. I get confused as to which branch he is actually in. My heart says Navy and I trust that. I am one proud Navy mom.
Pam (GM MOM) and medic mom, thats not far at all! I would love to get togther sometime!
