Hi NM*ll

I am home from work now {:oD.

I am here for whatever you want to know. Will add you as a friend, so we can chat or whatever you need.

I love it up there, and being you are close to Chicago, you get a straight flight to Seattle no problem.

Hello ALL  :)  Well I'm on to the next phase of being a Navy Mom.......My sailor was told he's going to Whidbey Island after A school Date unkown?  He will be going as AD.

@Sanmor: I don't now much yet about assignments or dates. I was just wondering about the base and the area surrounding. How to get there to visit, tourist things to do??? Any ideas?

To all: I am from the Orland Prk (SW Suburb of Chicago) area but its nice to see Navy Moms getting together. I have not been able to attend any get togethers..so I'll keep cking to see what plans are made. I am anxious to meet others to share stories and tips....My sons girlfriend would also like to come to a get together.

Jn/JfMOM-  To funny!  I work at Olivet Nazarene University where Brears training Camp takes place!    I will not be around THursday evening...headed up to GL for our sailors PIR on Friday!  Yeah!  :)

Well, ladies, you tell me, what is better a Saturday or Sunday (or weeknight, but that could be difficult for those driving farther). Dinner or Lunch? Would Orland Park be difficult for anyone? If so, we can find a place more central.

Thetwoj -- we'll be in Bourbonnais on Thursday for training camp!  We have a newly commissioned Ensign & another in NROTC.

We live in the northern half of state ... not far from where I-39 and I-80 meet.  Still about 100 miles from Chicago, tho.

Sounds good to me!!   Just let me know when and where!  :)  Nice to meet you!!  :)

Jlalumen, Hello! LOL! There are a few of us here from the northern half of the state and we've talked about getting together. I guess I just need to pick a day and get something together. I have a couple of new contacts from BBA. Personally, I have a great group of friends from the BBA area and get down there every now and then. Let me look at my calendar and get something together.

Thetwoj-  I have a sailor!  I live just down the road from Frankfort!  We live in Bourbonnais!  Would love to connect with other moms in the area...  I know I met at leasst one other Frankfort mom on here as well!  :)

There must be two Frankfort, IL in that case, cause I'm in Will Co, right on the boarder of Cook Co. Not far from the Indiana State Line. Maybe you've heard of Orland Park? that is about 5 miles Northwest of me. I'm super lucky, cause my son will be able to come home to see all his family and friends after PIR and still make it back before cerfew.
