OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Sanmor where are you from and where are you now, I too am from Scotland, met my hubby in Dunoon, on the subs, we lived in Maine, Portsmouth, then he got out and we moved to upstate NY and are now in Bloomington, my oldest daughter is in the Navy, in Monterey California.

oh yes you would love washington, my son is up there, and his squadron got decom'd in May. We went for the ceremony, and omg, I fell in love with the place. I would move there tomorrow. He is on Whidbey Island.

Well in our navy life we were in Scotland (where I am from), Kingsbay, Dallas, Charleston, Sicily, Boston, then Ingleside. That was in 15 years, but husband had done charleston and crete (twice), before he met me.
