Hi Laura...would love to come next sunday...but Sundays we have church and other things that we do. Bummer...would love to meet some more Navy moms in Southern IL...next time!!
Laura, yes, we are down in the St Louis area. Would be quite a drive for you! Saturday is prom night here, so that is why Sun works better for me on that weekend. Don't know what kind of shape I will be in after waiting up all night though! Anyway, maybe we'll catch you next time. We'll help you plan a STL weekend. It is a fun town.
Just Map Quested Fairview Heights - Holy schneikies Batman! I will have to pass on a Sunday get together. It will be a 5 1/2 hour drive for me.
If you ever do a Saturday in the future then I will probably be able to drive there & spend the night. Or spend $150.00 on a flight and save 11 hours of driving. Hmmmm....not a bad thought!
So far, the 22nd looks good. Have to check with my hubby. And Lotawata Creek is a great place to eat (but be prepared to share, ladies as this place serves big!)
OK gals, if we meet Sunday April 22nd in Fairview, the mall is open 11-6. We could eat around 11-1 and shop after, or I can try to find a breakfast place with enough room for us. If lunch, how does Lotawata Creek Southern Grill sound? They will take a group reservation for 10 or more, have a side room, and have a varied menu. http://www.lotawata.com Any other suggestions are good with me too. Keep the responses coming!
I would love to meet in Faurview Heights on Sunday, 4/22/12. I have to work the weekend of 4/28/12.
Calling all southern IL moms! If you can not get to the Meet and Greets in Bloomington this weekend or Schaumburg in May, let's try Fairview Heights or Mt. Vernon this month. How about April 22, 28, or 29th in one of those places? Let me know if you are interested, which location and date you prefer, and we'll go from there. We had such a wonderful time with the MO ladies. I would love to meet some more IL moms.
Helo everyone, I am new to this group so If anyone could tell me a little more about it I would appreciate it thanks so much.
Happy Easter to all Navy families!
Laura...Schaumburg meeting sounds good Our son is coming from San Antonio May 7 or 8 and will be with us for two weeks before going to Okinawa Japan. Maybe if he is in Chicago he might come with me...not sure yet. Keep us inform...thanks
