ProudNavyMom - You will I know it...
Pentwater - so glad for you. I hope to get the "I'm a sailor" call sometime tomorrow!
Good Morning my Navy Family.. In 3 days 18 hours I get to see my Sailor I am so excited I can't put it into words... Got to talk to him for a little while yesterday. They are treating them really good right now since they are already Sailors.. Got to go on Facebook, call home, eat Taco Bell (which he wouldn't eat after talking with a friend that works at our local Taco Bell) and play video games. It was funny while we were talking he kept saying hold on I am talking to my mom and dad. Than finally my Sailor said that his friends wanted him to go play games so he was going to hang up.. That made my so happy to hear him call them his friends.. I know they will be friends for live..
Lauren - thank you so much for the pic!!
@earl's mom - my boyfriend is in week 3 at great lakes. pir is 1/06. so far i have gotten three letters and info on adopt a sailor (all in one envelope). hoping for more soon!
@ allie........it stinks but that is the very best advice I can give you .....I can tell you from experience, don't go by what others tell you, go by what comes out of your sailors mouth, and No News is Good News....Everyone of them is different
We're going on 4wks at boot camp, so I'm crossing my fingers that today may be the day I get a phone call from my man. If not, I will continue with the motto, "no news is good news". Hope you all have a great day! :)
@ProudNavyMom, Is your sailor going to Nuke school in Goose Creek? Because I am a "Nuke Mom", I talked to a lot of them at the VFW. SO hope one was your son!! Many of them said, Oh yes, my mom is on N4M and she knows stuff before I do!!!" We all did a lot of laughing!!!!
