Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Well, I finished all of my signs for decorating my hotel!! It may be 2:40am... but it gone done. Plus homework, productive night. Here are my masterpieces. (again, just for decorating, not bringing to PIR haha)

It is going to be awesome out side, but I have to say there is something about when the doors raise and you know they are coming ....and I think we get to be closer inside...but sure can't wait to see your pics Jessica...jacqueline.you are soooooo right most of the times all we hear about is the person here and its not about us it is about them ......but that is because we have each other for us ...

I hope Jessica knows how proud we are of her.  A lot of the young sweethearts we see on Navy4Moms are all about themselves....  I hope I get the phone call,  when will he be able to spend time with me?  Jessica has been about supporting the man she loves and helping him be the best he can be.  That is a level of maturity that we can all aspire to.  Bravo zulu Jessica!!!!!

Thank you everyone!!! It is getting so close it is all I can think about!! I will be sure to post some pictures afterwards(: I wish I could explain how excited I am!!!!!!!!

Thank you(: I am SO excited. I'm spending all day tomorrow getting my hair, nails and brows done so i look perfect for PIR(: I can't wait!!! Oh, and then doing a ton of homework to cover for this weekend when I won't do any. 

 

That was really one of the best phone calls I have ever gotten, I just can't wait to see him now! I am so proud of him.
