OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

If any of you are coming to help at the air show on Saturday or Sunday, let me know asap so I can arrange for passes.  We're having a MollyAS/Special Hugs booth.

LindaK - I was just wondering because my daughter is on the USS Geo. H.W. Bush and she just spent 2 days in Spain.  Thought for a second there they might be on the same boat.  I mean ship!  :)

Stopped in the recruiter's office for one of my pop in hellos and a hug.  Found out the bro-in-law to one of the recruiters is my sailor's MCT.  So, as I emailed my son to ask if he knew him, he replies back--I'm on the phone with him now.  Small world.

Hey everyone! I got more letters today, YAY! I have the name of a recruit who does not get much mail and my boyfriend was wondering if any of the nice N4M ladies would write to his lonely friend. If you are willing let me know and I'll give you the info(:
