Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Good Morning Doing better now - not a foggy brian any more

And only touching that kite wearing gloves !

 Please - right now my friend is in surgery - Prayers for her please :)  Thank you

And minutes ago - two more packages arrived from my son in Japan

Have I opened them yet ? - NO

Will I be wearing gloves to open them and handle the items inside ? - YES!

Thank you - funny thing - I might be allergic tot he  piant used on teh kite.  Left eye has been itching and is swelling.  Right now on benadryl and typing is hard.

Will psot a pic of it later - it is pretty :)

Dont tel lson I might be allergic to hsi gift please.

 

And I need a prayer request please.  Girl friend is having a so needed surgery tomorrow morning.  Please add your postive htought for Linda.  That her surgery goes well and easy / quick helaing.  When I can tuype better I'll share  Hugs all :)

Happy Valentine's Day

 I am ahving a good day and it was made even extra special - I got a package from Japan!!!!!

 

My son sen tme a birthday gift. - its next week.  I received a lovely purple Dragonfly kite and 3 penny press coins from China.  He wished me a happy Birthday  - was so happy that he found those penny press machines and told me he misses me.  I am tearing up friends - my baby misses me.

Welcome to danijo's mom.  Do you all realize how close to 400 we are?  We just may have have to have a meet and greet at the State Fair.

Just an update:

I was infromed by another Navu Mom is is a mjaor award for sailros and a ship to have earned .  So I am very proud for my son.

And it is 42 degrees here - major melt down happening

Can actaully see the road in front of the home again

This photo was posted 7 hours ago by my son.  His ship eanred this Battle E for the 5th time and they are celelbrating.  I just have to look it up to understand why.
