Illinois Moms. If any of you can help out on Molly's Adopt A Sailor, http://www.navyformoms.com/group/mollysadoptasailorproject/forum/to...
the Abraham Lincoln is needing us to rev up and help out with their box count. I don't care if you get all the neighborhood kids to make cards, or if you send one box of one thing. If you can stretch your budget to ship one box to this January group, please let the coordinator over there know.
We are the Land of Lincoln. That also includes our USS Abe Lincoln.
Thanks.
You can sew or tie die--you can get crayolas and heat set drawings on plain pillowcases--you can even get those iron on heat set pages that you run through the computer and put on a plain pillowcase. Someone told me that Sams club has a good price on plain white pillowcases to decorate. We just want a lot of different styles and personalities--there may be duplicates with our needed over 1,000, but I bet not many.
Let me know if you have any questions, or go to
http://www.navyformoms.com/group/mollysadoptasailorproject and look up Feb. 2011 pillowcases. I'm not announcing any other of their requests until we are done with the January group--which is also fantastic!
Carol
