Double that BRR to chattering teeth.

Had to go out and fill up the bird feeder.  It was frozen solid.

Funny - I was in jammies until I had to go out. Must be an IL thing.

Carol, My son went through the Springfield recruiting office. Do I need to call them or Collinsville?

Comment by Pat L. in IL on December 12, 2010 at 9:14am

Mom4kerr, You can get APO/FPO and customs forms free at the post office. When you get the customs form send me a message and I'll walk you through it. Pretty much the only things you can't send are carbonated beverages and aerosols.

Dodi--there is a St Louis officer who covers the press releases.  However, Andy's never did get in the paper. But call the Collinsville office and ask for that guy's name and phone number.

HI

mom4kerr - you need to wait for you son to send you his mailing address. Then go to the post office and get the FPO AP boxes. Plus the forms to fill out.  Not hard promise.

And then STUFF that box full.  Itemes I have sent - long johns, boots, clothing - games, snacks ( just mailed 3 pounds of Mrs Fisher's Chips ! )  books, DVDs,  and items in glass too.  Like my son loves Apple Butter.  So I have wrapped it in bubble wrap.  Then placed it into a Freezer Zip lock Baggy and then wrapped his blue jeans around that.  Note - if you are wrapping gifts or breakable items n their clothing - PLACE a letter on top and say READ first before openign rest of your package!

You can ask you son what he might like from home too.  The lady's here have great ideas of a fun packages.  Like my son has asked for gliders.  A simple toy.  So we are looking for gliders now to send.  Enough for him and his shipmates to have a play day.  Hope this helps.  And my son is stationed in Japan also.  Come visit the Japan moms site too.

Template ?  Sorry I have no answer.  Carol should :)

Havea good day all

I would like to place an announcement of my son's graduation from bootcamp. Is there a template that we use?
