Welcome new Moms :)
I don't think you caused a problem. WE all forget and get excited and then sometimes share a little to much. That is why we have a good Navy Mom Administrators that help us out. And Carol is one sweet lady that is there for us :)

Head from my son - he is back at base now. Now he is trying to get back to Navy Time - not his time. So far - just frustrated: his head set stopped working so he couldn't use Skype. Then he missed promotion by 5 points - the ship didn't pass inspection and he still feel that jet lag. He had one of those " I am calling home to complain to only Mom" moments. He will call back later this weekend and I just know if his dad answers that phone first - my son will have only good things to share.

Need to figure out food for dinner - havea great weekend all :)

Will try to keep all of that in mind. Hope I didn't mess up too badly.

Thanks. He's assigned to another sub in dry dock (USS Tennessee) and it's his first deployment, so I'm sort of new to all of this. I understand about the sensitivity. Thank you Carol for checking things out.

bodeanhead--I'm not sure how you get the information. We say as little as possible on this site in order to protect our troops and follow OSPEC regulations. My son is on his way to serve on the same ship!
Which makes me wonder is there is a USS W.VA group here--will investigate!

Thank you for warm welcome. My son is on the USS West Virginia and has been gone since the beginning of April. I do get to E-mail him, but he cannot return it. I was wondering how I can find out when he will be comming back? Is there a web sight I can go to? Thanks for whatever info I can get.
Happy Memorial day to all.
