OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hubby's retirement gift from his school team

It's an old fashioned bike he's been wanting for several years! Now, I've got to get one to keep up with him.

Our son called--pretty excited. He got a non-combat Navy Award Medal for machining an expensive (but broken) valve. Can't help but brag for a moment.
