OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

T-Lynn, So glad that you aren't mad at yourself anymore. I've been having problems with not getting email notifications of posts on here. Periodically, I just sneak in the "back door" and see what is going on. This weekend I will be gone so am having my personal computer guru (who I also gave birth to) check my laptop out. Anyone else having any problems??? But T-Lynn, I did enjoy your explanation!!!!

Clockard--thanks for putting us in touch with T-Lynn. Have to laugh that she's been "talking" to herself. Give her our love!

Linda--do you have a "211" phone number program? St Louis does, but not metro east Illinois. It coordinates all help agencies.

Steve's Mom
Check with Social Services at your local hospital. They may have some resources. Also ask at the church-- I know we help with local ministries once they have checked in with the police department to be sure they haven't made multiple requests as a scam. I'll think on this overnight to see if I have any other ideas.
