At times. He misses the home holidays. This was his third Christmas he was not at home. He has not had many opportunitie to site see in Japan. The reason - his ship was up for all this Yearly - Bi-yearly and the BIG INSURV ( a 5 Yearly Inspeciton) So the entire summer and into November was getting that ship ready. Weather not too bad at times. And he has made freinds. But he really needs a true bud. That is what he misses too. Nice sharing with you - hope I answered some questions. talk later TLynn

At least a 1/3 way there :). Waiting to hear from my boys - both in Japan. Oldest flyes back on teh 28th and his brother back to base on the 28th. At least Alex was not alone this Christmas. It is his third away from home. 11 inches ! You must have really wanted a White Christmas. Hopefully - no ice storm with it. On Christmas Eve - we awoke to being incased in ice - some areas of Rockford lost power for two days. We were amoung teh lucky ones to have power. Tried get family and friends to come and stay with us - but they were determined to ride out the storm. all is well and warm now. Have a good evening and talk soon TLynn

Good Morning all :).Carol - we have the A/C on to - but the weather is doing it on the outside :) OnChristmas Day - we had rain and in the evening snow started. Right now - it looks like a scene from the movie White Christmas - so beautiful. Hubby is getting ready to snow blow - got to play with those big toys. But this way we can keep ahead of the snow. Waiting to hear from my boys n Japan. On the 27th both are flying back. Sailro to hsi base and oldest back home to IL. I will have gossip to share when he gets back :) Havea good day all Tlynn
