Julie, They get a pretty long phone call. Don't expect it until later in the morning though. After Battle Stations there is the capping ceremony and it is a while before they can start making calls. We got our call at 1PM.

Hi Everyone, Have to share the good news. Jeff passed Power School comps today. Headed for Goose Creek Thursday for his graduation on Friday. OORAH!!

Julie, Best wishes for your daughter to knock 'em dead during Battle Stations. You are gonna love the phone call tomorrow!! Essentials for PIR: camera and lots of Kleenex. While you are at PIR at GL, we will be doing the same thing in South Carolina.

Will do Carol. Not adding here, but i will be off for a few days. Mom's doctor here had a chat amoung themsleves and they got her an appointment with a surgeon speicalist. She sees him this Wednesday - Madison Wisconsin. If he says ok -they will start getting her ready to admitted that day. Then on Thursday adn Friday - two other relatives have surgeries too. 3s - this family does everything in 3s! So I'm going to be busy - but I'll have some great gossip when I get back . Have a great weeken - Thanksgiving. Hugs TLynn

Asking for prayers in Texas again. This is posted on the Prayer Wall.

Our Dallas/Ft Worth Marine Corps Families group was notified Friday 13 Nov of the death of Lance Corporal Shawn Hefner, son of Patrick and Robin Hefner of Hico...who found out the same day.

This precious young man was supposed to be coming back to the United States on 19 Nov after a tour in Afghanistan then starting post-deployment leave on 11 Dec through the 4 Jan...this is not the way in which he was supposed to come home. The whole group is in shock as his parents and we were planning a celebratory homecoming for this week...and not a funeral.

Please remember this family as they fly back from Dover Delaware to Waco Texas with their son today. The funeral will be some time this coming week.

Let us not forget the mission...let us remember the fallen and the imprisoned...Let us pray for Peace....
