Redd--glad to have you on our site. Now, I've got to find some old pix of my Mom--she had gorgeous hair just like yours! We will help you through boot camp, too.

Smokey - thanks for the update. And remember your Offical Navy now - so that's "waiting sucks Sir" Trying to get you to laugh. Oh Julie - wow - advice? Ouch here.
Are you aware of any letters he and she sent to each other during her BC period? And what was said in those letters? And here is something you might not be aware off - she might NOT be able to go home with you. She MIGHT have to stay in her barracks until she is moved across the way to her Ship - aka dorm for schooling. She could be among the few lucky ones that do get to come home for a three days leave - after she checks into her ship/dorm. That's if they- the Navy has all the paper work correct. You will find out the moment after she graduates and you speak with her. This you can share with the boyfreind. Sorry not much help was ? And I didn't mean to add to your situation, just wanted you to be prepared. Also when going to the graduation - take a kleenex box not a pcket package. You will have crying moments and those pocket things are just not enough! Good luck TLynn

ANd I also havea questions. Watching the President and First Lady give their final respect to each picture of the fallen - there was a wonderful profile of theFirst Lady.

Hi al,
I just finished watching the memorial at Ft. Hood. Very nice. But my eyes are still stingingn a bit. Guess I shed more tears than I realized. I really lost it when the families would kiss a picture of their love one and when a fellow soldier that was wounded - fight his own pain to walk up on cruches and give the last respect of a salute. Feel empty and wish I could hold my sailor. TLynn
