Hi Jeannie, Beautiful and from the heart
Can Nic read this on air?
Comment by T-Lynn on November 9, 2009 at 5:58pm
WZOK - 97.5 FM Rockford, IL
ON air - Saturday evenings 7 to midnight
Nic has a great voice and very good at listening to his audience. Which is mostly young teens. But one thing he does do - promote the Military. He will not be live on air this Veterans Day. But in the past Nic made DAM sure his listeners knew aobut the US History and to show respect for the troops. He actaully had freinds stationed in Iraq and they would call and he would put them on air -so everyone could hear them. And CONGRATS TO Jacque !!!!!!!! Thanks for making my day a happy one. When you see him - give him a hug from me. So proud for him and congrats to you fellow Navy Mom! Now - your learning about the Navy has begun. Welcome Aboard ! talk soon TLynn

Karen C - Shark, the pet turtle just finished her Christmas letter to Noah. Also, Shark had me send a picture of her under our Christams tree too. Plus my mother is making small snowflakes . That way when he opens the letter - he will have some snow flakes to pay with. Thank you for letting us share a happy moment. TLynn

Kimmy - Fingers crossed that he and his family will home for you next yeear. But at least he can send pictures - all with beautiful tans. Just think, you will be sholveing snow - knowing that your son and his family are lying on a beach - in swim suits - in beautiful sunny weather - relaxing. I'm getting envious here. I like the snow and shoveling - and I keep telling myself that :) But do hope they will be home next year for you too. This Christmas will be the third one without my sailor and that Charlie Brown Christmas tree is a good way to share how I feel. But - wishing everyone a great day too Smiles and hugs all TLynn

So glad to see others know how to use whiskeys! Hey my dad used Jack Daniels on our gums when we were babies. Cutting teeth - He place his finger in the bottle -get a bit on his finger tip and rub those gums. Worked great on my boys - happy babies. And I don't mean drunk. Then my mom shared that my Grand father - her dad - actaully made the home made whiskey. In the bathtub. Not kidding. This was in the 1920' and 1930's. Hope you feel better soon Cathy :). TLynn

Smoky - your son is going to be one fine sailor. Sounds to me he is determined and strong in character. So looking forward to hearing that he passed. Will light a candle to honor him and for him to be healthy soon. But you take the cake in the Christmas lights talk. When you are finished - you have to share with us. Maybe get with Carol - sounds like her husband is ready to go to town too , with deocrating. Navy Dad - have you been listening to Jeff Foxworthy again? But I have seen some homes around here that have done that. I didn't get my pumpkin lights or ghost lights up this year. SO I AM going to get the Christmas ones. It's going to be in the 70's again today. So its a perfect time to nag - I mean suggest to my hubby puts up those lights. HE BOUGHT THEM - HE PUTS THEM UP! My allergies have kicked in some from raking - mulching all those leaves. I going to have a spot of tea and honey. Then have a shot of Jack Daneils tonight :). take care and have a good day TLynn

Hubby wants the new light bulbs with LED technology because you can hook up to 26 strands at a time! Sounds like a Chevy Chase Christmas Vacation moment just waiting to happen!
