Take Kleenex! I cried through the entire swearing in. After he was sworn in - got a moment alone with him and hugs. then I cried out the door of MEPS - to the car - my husband driving to Cracker Barrel - I still cried - cried in Cracker Barrel - --- Basicly cried all the way home and cries for the next few days. Better take several boxes of kleenex snoozymom. Jenni - have not seen my son in almost a year. (Sept, 21 = 1 year) And will have another year and half before I can hold him again. Emails and pictures - phone calls are nice, but my arms hurt to hug him. Sending you a hug :). Jeannie - isn't your sailor coming home soon? August 27th ? If I have that date is right - please hug him for all of us. Now I have sailor withdrawl again - going to bake somthing. Have a good day TLynn

Jeannie, QUIET???? Had 11 (yes eleven) chidren at my house all day. At 6PM took 3 to the grocery store for $200 worth of groceries. Son and DIL came to visit the grandkiddies, fed everyone, gave treats to the whole neighborhood of kids playing in front yard, bathed the baby, supervised showers for the older two, kissed son and DIL bye-bye, and just tucked the 3 kiddies in bed. Not quiet in my world. Nightie night! (BTW, don't let this get around but loved every minute of it)

Yeh--my "adopted" brother Sam is here! His wife and my son were at boot camp at the same time. He lives about 90 minutes from me, so that is why I have "adopted" him.

The back yard was being regrading adn the friver of the bobocat feared he mght damage our Milkweeds So the night before - we went to see if any eggs or baby caterpillars wer there . WE found 31. Now they ahve hatched and eating. All are in their own jars - looks like an caterpillar apartment complex. As of now - 3 are forming the J shape - this means teh crysalis stage is next. Yes. I am asking Kristen to come over adn help me understand and design my page. I will then get several pictures up Hopefully next week. Oh - I went back some of our pages here on the site and found on page 5 a Navy Mom - Jennikestitchin.. Jenni had infomration that could help Andrea. So I have emailed her to come back on and find Andrea and share that information. Jennie - thanks for arranging the meals. If I can I will try to be a part. Will work something out. And Andrea - call the schools your children are attendening. There is possible some assistance they can give - possibel you have a neighbor - you don't know yet that has a child in teh smae Kindergarten class as your child :) Just trying to put out ideas. Ladies - I am itching something here - got to go. Have a good evening. Tlynn

Good Morning :)
Gwen you and your D-n-law are in our thoughts. Do keep us posted. Bius here ladies - now have 20 caterpillars. Ranging in age of 36 hours old to 15 days old. And EATING their milkweed leaves is a big deal. Two problems - hubby has to find milkweed everyday to deed these guys. And i might have developed an allergy to the leaves or milky liquid insdie the leaves. My eyes lids have swlooen adn are red and itchy. I look like I have been on major booze run.
( 2 drinks and I am gone) Oh well - take some Benadryal and sleep it off. Let you know of any other strnage thing going on here. Have a great day. Hugs -
Itchy TLynn

I had a scoop of the ice cream this afternoon--well, I had to buy an ice cream cone so I could take a picture of it! I'll post the picture when I get a chance, but it's very tasty and looks good, too. Graham cracker, chocolate revel, and green marshmallow cream. If you've never had Whitey's, you don't know what you're missing! My son has it every time he's home.
