So happy you had a great visit at the Rockford meet and greet. I understand that if you want to post pix here, you can do it in a post if you have an account like photo bucket, but don't know any more than that.
Also, the last time I posted pix, it took almost 2 weeks for them to appear. Must be the difference from when I first joined at Mom # 893, and that we are now over 20,000. Good news travels fast, huh?!

Doesn't the modiarator have to preview them before they are made public?

Good Afternoon Sue,
Are you ready to be up? Sorry that you did not make it - a place was waiting for you. You too Kim. And I think one more mom was to attend. But there were 10 of us. Arrived early to make sure we had a table big enough and Olive Garden made sure all was ready.. Between 11:20 Am and noon - everyone was showing up.. Loved Karen and her friend Dee showing up on their Harley Davisons. Now Jeannie needed some help with directions - which ended up me jumping up down - waving my arms - yelling into my cell phone " can you see me now ?" - and ehaing like this in front of Olive Garden. As I was walking back into Olive Garden - another Navy Mom ( Cheryl) is stanidng there and said: " You have to be T-Lynn". So I made a good first impression. We shared stories: " your feelings when your child said they had enlisted in the Navy: , " a moment when your realized - they really are in the Navy" "any funny things that happend" "getting your kid to call home! and so much more. We shared - laughed - cried and hugged. A good time. Oh - yes - we do want to do this again - Jeannie is in charge :). The Navy can take lessons from her on being organized and on Time! So send ideas - EVERYONE send ideas. We did discuss the ideas of being located in a place - so even our southern Moms can join. SO now is the time to get out ideas. Place - Date - things to do - families coming - etc. And Jeannie said she would try and post some of the pictures. So all have a good evening. TLynn

Good evening,
Ok - 16 hours before we all meet!
I did call the Rockford Register Star to see if they would come and talk with us. That's a maybe. I will check back on this site before - trying to sleep this night and again in the morning. Just to see if more are coming. At this time - possible of 11 of us! Some of you stated that possible that your hbbys might be coming. Sorry, my cannot not. There is no one available to be with my mother. So we all need to plan an event so all can attend :). Have a good evening TLynn
