Metro East Families
Please keep an eye on the weather. I know I am planning for a dry evening on Sun. June 14th for Flag Day. Bring your family, friends and other military supporters. Also bring a lawn chair for the outside free concert. Wear red/white/blue or bring a flag. If you need to know about the weather closer to Sunday evening, private message me for a phone #. See above for details or go to EVENTS on June 14th.

THANK YOU SANDRA !!!!!
Where did you get that T-Shirt? I want one too. Kiss your brother - the HERO for me please. Without giving too much information - my sailor is stationed in Japan. He will share some scary things with his dad and big brother and I get the fun stuff. When asked about teh dealing with N.Korea - all my sailor would say: "Everything is ok, but funny thing we are getting more ships - visiting. Gee - I wonder why those extra ships are visiting? Thanks for listening. Take care T-Lynn

Good Morning Ladies,
Thank you for sharing your joy. It feels so good to HEAR others say - with pride - that they are Patriotic! I have worn my Navy Mom Hat in stores and will just get looks. Looks of - why are you wearing that? The only ones who smile or talk to me - WWII /Vietnam Vets and other parents of military. But all are so quiet in their voices I am NOT quiet. I speak with a confident - proud voice. I agree with the others too - when going to the BC graduation - take kleenexs and make sure your batteries are powdered up for your camerias. ANd get ready to cheer for your sailors division! I was a littel horse after cheering so much. Get their earlier too - oh the travffic! My sailor graduated in Feb 08 - oh was it COLD! So I am hoping that your weather is wonderful for the event. ANd get all the hugs you can get . Take care Ladies - wishing you a wonderful day. T'Lynn
