OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in meeting in the Rockford area. I think it would be a great time............I'm about a hour south of Rockford and would give a ride if anyone would need. I'm picking Rockford, because that is where Sarah is and since she worked so hard on the Galena meet, and ended up alone. I think it would be great if some of us could go to her.
Tell me what you think
Peace my friends

On the other hand, several of us had a great time getting together in the Chicago area. We really had fun meeting!

I agree! What a shame, but I'm not surprised as I've experienced the same sort of thing in the Quad-Cities for events here.

Please look up the link and see what you can attend. It included a kick off American Freedom Navy Band at the Union Station, a dinner in Belleville where you can connect with family assistance groups, and MORE.
Please contact Michele for more information. Her contact info is in the link.

Did some of you meet in Galena on Saturday? I would have been there, but we were celebrating my dad's 87th birthday out in Iowa. I want to hear about your day!

Yeah Dee
Great news! Sad about the computer--folks, be sure your sailors have "lo-jack" on their laptops to help trace them, and to be sure they are insured (I would guess.)
Love the name Indy500,
I was born just past the Indianapolis 500 Race yard, which we all call Indy500.
Take Care
Carol
