DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Rebecca, we went to the the best place in Illinois for any car crazy boy. We could have spent 3 days there, but unfortunately went near closing time. If your family loves (we are muscle car crazy adn my brother builds classic cars ground up) cars and military museums, you must see Volo. I hope I spelled that right. Its due WEst.

anyone in bloomington?
my son broke down yesterday and had to walk in the snow 2 hours to get back to his hotel /motel 6. No alternator available, so they had to order the part, but he says he has to take another cab to get to Goodyears. Was wondering if anyone did not work during the day that could take him at 11 or 12 to goodyear. Hes cross country from GL to San Diego and is losing 2 days travel because they didn't have the alternator part and had to order it. I told him next time to get into his duffle bag and put on his uniform, and then he wouldn't have had to walk back to bloomington 2 hrs. Said his gps took him to a trailer park while looking for an autozone.????

Hi Moms, We Illinois moms (especially around the Chicago area) may have a mission. If you have read Kristina Arkansas's post her son is in the hospital in GL with Guillain-Barre syndrome. I have talked to her on the phone and she will be arriving here Mon or Tues. Maybe we can be thinking of how to help her out with transportation, etc. Will let you know when I get more info. Pat
