The sailor left my house yesterday :-( But he arrived in Bangor safely :-) And I'm now counting down the days until his next stand down. On Thursday, my surgery went very well, but I'm still moving slowly and delicately. Thanks for all the good wishes and prayers!

Donnita, he's a doll! I agree with Mark: very appropriate for his first pix to be in 'dress whites!'

Linda, Thank you so much for the support... I'll cling to that in the next few days.

Hope to see ya', Dawn... and 08, I'm sorry we'll miss you ;-(

Dear Navy Family,
My brain is not getting enough oxygen. My prior post didn't say what DAY we were having dinner. Here's another go at it:

I know this is last minute, but that's the hand I've been dealt... my surgery has been moved up to this coming Thursday, Oct 29 -- because my lab work says it needs to be soon.

While our sailor is home this week, we'd planned to have a birthday celebration for him since he'll be underwater for his actual birthday in December. We'd love to have any of you join us if you wish to. NO GIFTS, PLEASE! Trust me, he got a ton of stuff from his mom! We'd just really like to have a large "family style" dinner and embarrass him by singing Happy Birthday.

We'll be doing this on Wednesday, at 6:30pm, at the Olive Garden in Avon (our usual Westies meeting place). Ask for "The Navy Family." Coming late is perfectly fine too!

If you think you'll be there, send me a messge, or leave a note on my personal page... just so we kind of know how many to get seats for.
Hugs! Kaye & Andrew

Sis is good...working two jobs to pay the bills. Kaye, will pass along the message. I was a bad kid and took all three of his rifles when I drove up to see him...He is looking for a range, guess Drew could take time away from mom/family and fly up to see him, ;-) not! He bought a (new for him) car, which this time next year will be sitting in my yard and I have gotten instructions to drive it only on Sunday to church. Enjoy your time with Drew!

I've thought of a couple, but I'll have to PM them to ya'! A "clean" one would be a line from the movie, The Quiet Man: "There'll be wagerin' on the green this day, I reckon!" All good fun... hugs, k.

N4M Admin will have to remove it... I'll see what I can do. BTW, Drew says to tell your kid "Hey! And when are we goin' shooting again?" Hugs, k.

Kaye...anyway to delete the T-shirt posting? Don't want others getting any ideas.
